The June 2018 resulted in a Liberal / CA Coalition government with PineappleCrusher_ as Prime Minister. Soon after,
the Socialist and Labor parties merged to form the Labour party, while Independent AnswerMeNow1 and former Socialist phyllicanderer formed the Greens party. Due to this, Viking Leader Mad_Bear_O_Melbourne broke away from the opposition, choosing to sit alongside dyljam on the crossbench.
Seat of Kingston[]
The seat of Kingston resulted in a 3 - 3 tie between two of the candidates, and thus was referred to the high court. Detailed as C3/2018, the case heard from each side and the AEC. The Liberal Party were represented by PineappleCrusher_, and the Socialists by Youmaton. The High Court ruled on the 7th of June that the seat of Kingston was to be sent to a supplementary election, to be held on the 16th and 17th of June 2018.
